Tears in lilacs

Materials: black marker, Copic Ciao markers
Artist's comment: After Lotus Storm I felt like doing some more work with Copics. I wanted to try something pretty stylized, and ended up choosing a lilac theme because, well, I like lilacs. We used to have a Hungarian lilac hedge at my childhood home and I love the scent.
With regards to the picture... I guess it's pretty neat? I feel like I should have made the lilac bushes a bit more broken up, so the edge wouldn't be so clearly defined and maybe there would be some holes where light shines through, but this is still pretty nice. I need to work more with purple, I feel like it's kind of underrepresented in my work.
